Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship is offered by the Government of West Bengal. This scholarship has been introduced to provide financial assistance to the minority category students in the state.

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship 2021
The minority category students of West Bengal pursuing Post Madhyamik or above courses are eligible to apply for the scheme. The students who are pursuing polytechnic courses in the state are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
All the interested students are advised to go through the eligibility criteria carefully before submitting the application form.
- The applicant must belong to West Bengal state
- Applicants must belong to the any of the following minority community
- Muslim
- Christian
- Sikh
- Buddhist
- Parsee & Jain
- Must be continuing Post Madhyamik or above courses in the state
- Candidates must be a passed of current year from any of the following boards
- West Bengal State Board
- Council of Secondary
- State University
- Higher Secondary and Madrasah Education
- The family’s annual income must not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lakh from all the sources

Scholarship Reward
The shortlisted candidates will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 5000/- based on the course of study.

The application process for the Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship was started on 16th November 2021. The applications are accepted through the official website.

- Click on the How to Apply tab in the menu section
- Read all the instructions carefully and check the list of documents needed to be uploaded
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page
- Click on the “Proceed for Registration” button
- A new page opens with 6 different schemes

Important Note: Only one application is acceptable for one student. In case of multiple applications received for one student, all the applications of that student will be considered as duplicates and the scholarship will be rejected.

The following are the required documents to be uploaded at the time of application submission. Students are advised to scan all the documents and save them in PDF format.
