Digital Gujarat Scholarship 2022-2023 (Apply for 30+ Scholarships)

Digital Gujarat Scholarship 2022-2023: The Government of Gujarat has introduced more than 30 scholarships to encourage the students of the economically weaker sections to pursue higher education.

These scholarships are applicable to all students pursuing from school to higher education.

The applications from the eligible candidates are invited for the academic session 2023-2024.

We have provided detailed information about each scholarship on this page. Interested candidates can apply for the suitable scholarship given below.

Digital Gujarat Scholarship 2022-2023

The scholarships provided by the Gujarat Government will benefit all the poor students studying at various levels of education. Every year lakhs of students are getting benefited from these scholarships.

Due to the lack of awareness, most of the eligible students are not aware of these scholarships.

So, we have provided the details of more than 30 scholarships on this page. Select a suitable scholarship, check the eligibility, and submit the application on the given dates.

1. Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Education, Gujarat State. The Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana is applicable to students who are willing to study diploma/ degree courses in Gujarat state.

Check the detailed eligibility criteria and required documents to submit the application.

Eligibility:

• The student who wants to pursue a diploma course must score at least 80% marks in the 10th class
• Those who want to pursue a degree course must be passed with 80% marks in the 12th standard
• The students who scored 65% marks on the diploma and want to pursue a degree course (1st or 2nd Year) can apply
• The annual income of the family must be less than Rs. 6 Lakh (Six Lakh Rupees)

Scholarship Benefits:

The Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana provides the tuition fee and maintenance allowances to the shortlisted candidates.

Below are the benefits that the shortlisted candidates will get.

• Up to Rs. 2 Lakh will be provided towards the tuition fee
• Rs. 12,000/- will be provided as a food assistance
• Up to Rs. 10,000/- will be provided for the Book equipment assistance

2. Scholarships to the Disabled Candidates

Digital Gujarat Scholarship for Disabled Candidates: As per the 2011 census there are 1,092,302 disabled candidates (from all categories) in the state of Gujarat.

Most people are skipping their education due to poor financial backgrounds. There are few scholarships in Gujarat that really help the needy. This scheme is one of them.

Go through the eligibility and apply online.

Eligibility:

• The annual income of the family must be less than Rs. 50,000/- from all the sources
• The students with more than 40% of disability are eligible to apply
• Students from classes 1 to 12 are eligible to apply for this scheme
• Must have passed the previous examination with at least 40% marks
• The student should have satisfactory attendance in the previous academic year

Scholarship Benefits:

Classes I to VII	Rs. 1000/- per year
Classes VIII to XII	Rs. 1500/- or Rs. 5000/- per year

3. Post SSC Scholarship for Boys (NTDNT)

Post SSSC Scholarship for Boys, Gujarat: This scheme is offered by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Gujarat. This scheme is introduced to encourage the students of class XI and above to study under the NTDNT category.

Check the eligibility criteria of the scheme to apply online.

Eligibility:

• This scheme is applicable to male students only
• The annual income of the family must be less than Rs. 1,50,000/- in the case of urban areas
• For the rural area applicants, the annual income should be less than Rs. 1,20,000/-.
• All the NTDNT category students pursuing from classes XI to Ph.D. level can apply for this scheme

Scholarship Benefits:

The shortlisted candidates will get financial assistance of Rs. 280/- per month.

4. Post SSC Scholarship for Girls (NTDNT)

This scholarship is also sponsored & organized by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Gujarat. All the female students of the NTDNT category pursuing classes from XI to Ph.D. can apply for this scheme.

Eligibility:

• Only female students are eligible to apply for this scheme
• Must be from the NTDNT category
• The applicant must be studying classes from XI to Ph.D. and are eligible
• There is no limit on the annual income of the family

Scholarship Benefits:

Financial assistance of Rs. 65/- to Rs. 280/- per month will be provided based on the category and the course of education.

5. Post SSC Scholarship for Boys (SEBC Category) Gujarat

Gujarat Post SSC Scholarship (SEBC): The Department of Social Justice & Empowerment is offering this scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students pursuing Classes XI to the Ph.D. level under the SEBC category.

All male students from the SEBC category can apply for this scheme. the eligibility details are provided in the below section.

Eligibility:

The students who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply for this scheme.

• The applicant must be a male student
• He must be pursuing classes from XI to Ph.D.
• Should belong to the SEBC Category only
• The student must belong to the Gujarat State

• Bonafide Certificate
• Aadhar Card
• Caste & Income Certificate
• Previous year pass certificate

Scholarship Benefits:

The selected candidates will get financial assistance of Rs. 65/- to Rs. 280/- based on the category of the course taken.

6. Post SSC Scholarship for Girls (SEBC Category)

The girl students of Gujarat state pursuing classes from XI to Ph.D. under the SEBC category can apply for this scheme. This scholarship is funded by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of Gujarat.

Eligibility:

• Female candidates are eligible to apply for this scheme
• She must be from the SEBC category only
• The applicant must be studying classes from XI to Ph.D.
• There is no limit on the annual income of the family

Scholarship Benefits:

Financial assistance of Rs. 65/- to Rs. 280/- per month will be provided based on the category and the course of education.

7. Food Bill Assistance to SC Students, Gujarat

The students of Gujarat state pursuing Engineering & Medical Courses at staying at the College’s hostels are eligible.

The aim of the scheme is to provide food bill assistance to the students of economically weaker sections.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The annual income of the family must be less than Rs. 2,50,000/- from all sources
• Students must be studying either Engineering or Medical course
• Must be staying in the affiliated hostel of the college

Benefits:

Eligible students will get Food Bill assistance of Rs. 1200/- per month

Note: The amount is payable for a maximum of 10 months in a year. Which means Rs. 12,000/- per year.

8. Higher Secondary Scholarship for Minorities, Gujarat

The Higher Secondary Scholarship for Minorities is offered by the Government of Gujarat under the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment.

Candidates belonging to minority communities and pursuing 11th & 12th classes are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate must be a domicile of Gujarat State
• The family’s income must be less than Rs. 1,50,000/- per annum from all sources
• The candidate must belong to the minority community

9. Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students 2022-2023

The Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Gujarat is offering the Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students. The students who are pursuing UG & PG Courses can apply for the scheme.

The detailed eligibility has been given below

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must be a domicile of Gujarat State
• Must belong to the SC category
• The candidates who are pursuing Graduation or Post Graduation in any of the recognized Institute/universities are eligible
• Candidates must not pursue the same course twice or above
• The annual income of the family must not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lakh from all sources
• Candidates who are pursuing correspondence courses are also eligible to apply

10. Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students, Gujarat

The “Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students” is offered by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Gujarat. The aim of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to ST Students who are pursuing Graduation & Post Graduation courses.

The students of Gujarat state pursuing Graduation & Post Graduation courses in any of the recognized Institutes/ Universities can apply for the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicants must meet the following eligible factors to apply for the scheme.

• Must be a domicile of Gujarat State
• Only ST category students are eligible to apply
• The annual income of the family must be less than Rs. 2,50,000/- from all sources
• Candidate must be studying either Graduation or Post Graduation from any of the recognized universities/ Institute
• Those who are pursuing Correspondence courses can also apply for the scheme

11. Scholarship for the Students of Govt. Colleges, Gujarat

The students of Gujarat State pursuing the courses related to arts, science, and commerce at Government Colleges can apply for the scheme.

The shortlisted candidates will get up to Rs. 3,000/-

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must belong to the Gujarat State
• Must be Pursuing any of the courses in the arts, science, or commerce stream
• Only the candidates from Government Colleges are eligible to apply

12. EBC Fee Exemption Scheme, Gujarat

The Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Gujarat is offering the EBC Fee Exemption Scheme.

The students of Gujarat State pursuing Graduation or equivalent courses can apply for the scheme.

Benefits:

The eligible candidates will get full or 50% of the tuition fee based on the marks scored in the 12th standard.

Marks Scored in 12th Class	Tuition Fee
Above 60%	Full Fee
Below 60% & Passed 12th Class	Half of the total Fee

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicants must belong to the Gujarat State
• The student must have finished 12th and got admission into the Graduate level program
• The family’s income should be less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh per annum from all sources
• The student who scored above 60% marks in the 12th class will get a full scholarship
• Students who scored less than 60% marks in the 12th standard will get a 50% scholarship
• 50% marks in the graduate-level course are mandatory to renew the scholarship for the next academic year

How to Apply for Digital Gujarat Scholarship 2022?

The application process is carried out on the official website of the Digital Gujarat Scholarship. The eligible candidates have to submit the application online by uploading the necessary documents.

1. Registration at the digital Gujarat Scholarship Portal

• Go to the official website of the Digital Gujarat Scholarship Portal (Visit Here)
• On the top right corner of the page, you will find the login button, click on it
• If you have an existing account in the DGSP, log in with your credentials. Otherwise, click on the “New Registration” button (use the below screenshot as a reference)

• Enter your Mobile Number, Email ID, and set your password to create the account
• You will receive an OTP to your mobile number
• Enter the OTP to verify your account
• After the verification, you will be taken to the profile update page
• Fill the empty fields and upload the profile picture to complete the basic registration process

2. Application for Scholarship

After the successful registration on the portal, the candidates have to follow the below steps to apply for the scholarship.

• You will find the Filter Service section in the dashboard, click on it
• Select the scholarship that you want to apply for and click on it
• Go through the guidelines and required documents to upload
• Fill out the application form and upload the necessary documents
• Check the details entered carefully
• Click on the submit button
• Your application will be submitted successfully
• You will get notified through the registered mobile number
