The BCECE is an entrance exam for admissions to Agriculture and Horticulture Science Courses. The BCECE Exam was conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board under an Act, 1995.
On the 17th of March 2020, the Board of BCECE has released the notification for the year 2020.
The BCECE is an annual recurring exam conducted offline. This year, the exam is scheduled to be conducted in the month of April 2020. Due to the covid-19 outbreak in the country, the board of BCECE has postponed the exams.

BCECE 2020 Exam Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus
The BCECE exam in the state has been postponed multiple times. Initially, the exams are scheduled on the 12th & 13th of April 2020. Later the exam dates are moved to the 19th & 20th of April 2020.
On the 4th of April 2020, the board of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam released a statement that the exams scheduled on the 19th & 20th of April are postponed.
Recently the board has extended the application dates. Go through the below table for fresh dates.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicants have to fulfill the following criteria to appear in the BCECE exam.
- Must have an Indian Citizenship
- The applicant and the family must belong to the Bihar state
- The candidates who are pursuing or finished 12th class can apply
- Only those who have taken Maths, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry subjects in the 12th standard are eligible
BCECE Exam Pattern
The total examination carries a maximum of 2000 marks (400 x 5 papers). There are 5 papers to attend, each paper consists of 100 questions & 400 marks. A time slot of 90 minutes is given for each paper.

BCECE Admission Procedure
The admission process for the BCECE exam is held in five stages.

1. BCECE Exam Application
The application process is carried out on the official website of BCECE through online mode.
The board of the BCECE has activated the application form on the 20th of February 2020. Later, the application dates are re-opened from 26th May 2020 to 9th June 2020.
Interested candidates have to pay the application fee and submit the application online.

The application fee for the BCECE exam is depends on the category of the student.

2. BCECE Admit Card
After finishing the application process, the board releases the Admit cards on the official portal. The candidates can download the admit card by entering the Register Number and Date of Birth.
The BCECE admit cards for the year 2020 are scheduled to be released on the 6th of April 2020. But, the board has postponed the schedule due to the lockdown in the country.
The fresh schedule is yet to be released. We will update the dates on this page after the official announcement.
3. BCECE Examination
The candidates who have downloaded their admit cards can attend the BCECE exam on the given dates. As this is an offline based exam, the candidates must carry the necessary stationery to the exam hall.
Candidates are advised to visit the exam center a day before the commencement of the exam. No electronic gadgets and printed material is allowed to the exam hall.
As per the first schedule, the BCECE exams are scheduled on the 12th & 13th of April 2020.
Later these dates are moved to 19th & 20th April 2020.
Even these dates are canceled recently. So, we have to wait for the announcement from the board to get a fresh schedule.
4. BCECE Exam Result 2020
After conducting the Examination, the board takes 4 to 5 weeks to announce the result. The result is released online on the official portal itself.
The candidates will get notified about result through their mobile number and through press release. All you need to do is visit the official website and enter the Roll Number, DOB to check the result.
5. BCECE Counselling
The qualified students in the exam are invited for the counselling process according to the rank scored.
The schedule for the counseling will be released soon on the official portal.
