WBJEE Counselling Schedule 2020 (Registration, Fee, Seat Allotment)
About WBJEE Exam 2020: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) is an annual recurring exam conducted by WBJEEB since 1962.
This is a joint entrance exam for the students who are seeking admission into B.Tech, B.Pharmacy courses in various universities & colleges/ institutions.
This year the exam schedule was postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
On the 7th of August 2020, the WBJEE board has released the results and rank card. The board has also announced a fresh schedule for the counselling process.
The new schedule for the WBJEE counselling process was released recently. The registrations are accepted from 12th August 2020 on the official website.

WBJEE 2020 Counselling Process
The schedule for the WBJEE counselling has been released recently. The board of WBJEE is conducting the counselling process through online mode.
The entire process is carried out in 7 stages

- Reporting at Colleges
1. Registration for Counselling
The qualified students in the WBJEE exam are allowed to register for counselling process. The registration process is carried out on the official website of WBJEE.
As per the latest notification, the WBJEE counselling registrations starts from 12th August 2020, Wednesday.
Visit the registration page using the above-given button and fill the form.
2. Counselling Fee Payment
The fee details for the counselling process are as follow

After finishing the registration process, the candidates have to pay the fee as per the fee given in the above table.
The registration fee will be accepted through the official websites only. Candidates can use any of the payment methods to pay the fee online.
3. Option Filling & Locking
After finishing the fee payment, candidates have to fill the options on the given dates.
The students have to login with their Application Number and Password to fill the options.
Last date for locking the filled options is 28th August 2020.
4. Uploading Documents
The following documents are needed to be uploaded at the time of registration.
- Date of Birth Certificate (or) 10th Class Hall Ticket
- 10th Class Mark Sheet
- 12th Class Mark Sheet
- Domicile Certificate (for West Bengal Candidates)
- Caste Certificate (For SC/ ST/ OBC- A & B)
- A Valid Income Certificate
- PwD Certificate (If Applicable)
Note: Candidates have to scan the original documents for uploading. Scanned B/W Xerox copies are not accepted.
All the documents are uploaded in color, 150 DPI, PDF format only.
5. Documents Verification
The uploaded documents are verified at the Virtual Reporting Centers. The candidates are required to report at the nearest VRC to get the documents verified.
Candidates will receive a SMS to the registered mobile number after the verification. The candidates will also receive an update if any of the uploaded documents got rejected.
The reason for the rejection will be given on the official website. Candidates can check the reason by logging into the portal.
Candidates are allowed to re-upload the rejected documents after contacting the Central Control Room of WBJEE.
6. Seat Allotment
After finishing the document verification process, the board will allot the seats based on the choice filling, availability of seats, and ranks of the candidates.
The Result of Seat Allotment for Round-1 is scheduled to be released on 31st August 2020.
A week time is given for paying the provisional admission fee after allotting the seat.
7. Admission Fee Payment & Reporting at Colleges
The candidates who got allotment letter can pay the fee and report at the college on the given dates.
The seat acceptance and paying admission fee starts from 31st August 2020 and ends on 6th September 2020.
The allotted college and the respective fee will be given on the allotment letter.
Candidates can download the allotment on the official website by entering the Application Number and Password.
