UP Scholarship 2023-2024: The Government of Uttar Pradesh is offering various scholarship schemes to provide financial support to the students pursuing classes from the 9th to the PG level.

UP Scholarship 2023-2024 (Apply for 10+ Scholarships)

UP Scholarship 2023: These scholarships are being offered by the Department of Social Welfare, BC Welfare Department, and Minority Department of Uttar Pradesh.

1. UP Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC, ST & General

The “UP Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC, ST & General” is funded by the Department of Social Welfare, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. The primary aim of the scheme is to encourage poor children to finish their matriculation by providing financial support.

The Application Process for the academic year 2022-23 was started on 23rd July 2022 and Ends on 12th October 2022.

The students of SC, ST & General categories pursuing classes 9 & 10 can apply for this scheme.

There are a few eligibility factors that the students have to fulfill.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The student must belong to the Uttar Pradesh State
• Only the students of 9th & 10th classes are eligible to apply
• Must belong to the SC or ST or General Category
• The annual income of the family must not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- (One Lakh) from all sources

2. UP Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship for SC, ST & General

Applications are invited from eligible students for the UP Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship (for SC/ ST/ General).

The students of Uttar Pradesh state pursuing intermediate education (11th & 12th Class) can apply for the scheme.

The application process for the academic year 2022-23 started on the 20th of July 2022 and ends on the 25th of October 2022.

Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria and required documents to submit the application online.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must belong to the UP State
• Only the candidates who are pursuing intermediate (Class 11th or 12th) are eligible
• The student must belong to the SC/ ST/ General Category only
• The family’s income must be less than Rs. 2 Lakh Per annum for General category students
• In the case of SC & ST category students, the family’s annual income should be less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh.

3. UP Post-Matric Scholarship for SC, ST & General (Other than Intermediate)

The Social Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh is inviting applications from the eligible wards for “UP Post-Matric other than Intermediate Scholarship (SC, ST & General)“.

The application process was started on the 20th of July 2022 on the official scholarship portal of Uttar Pradesh. The last date for submitting the filled application form is 25th October 2022.

The students of UP State pursuing graduation and above courses and belonging to the SC/ ST/ General category can apply for the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria:

The detailed eligibility is as follows.

• The student must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh State
• Must be studying courses above Intermediate (Degree, PG, Ph.D., and higher-level)
• The candidate must belong to the SC/ ST/ General Category
• Family Income:
  • For SC & ST Category: The annual Income of the family must be less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh
  • For General Category: Family’s annual income must not exceed Rs. 2 Lakh from all sources

4. UP Post-Matric (Other State) Scholarship for SC, ST & General

The “Post-Matric Other State Scholarship for SC, ST & General Category” is also funded by the Social Welfare Department of UP State.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates from 20-07-2022.

Application Start Date: 20 July 2022

Application Submission Last Date: 25th October 2022

The application process begins on the 20th of July 2022 and ends in the month of October 2022.

The students who are pursuing the 11th or above classes and fulfill the other eligibility criteria can apply online.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must be studying classes 11 or above
• Only SC/ ST/ General category students are eligible to apply
• Family Annual Income:
  • For SC & ST: Less than Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum
  • For General Category: Less than Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum

5. Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Category Students

The Department of BC Welfare, Uttar Pradesh is inviting applications from the eligible OBC category candidates for “Pre-Matric Scholarship 2022-23“.

The objective of the scheme is to encourage OBC students from financially weaker sections in the state.

The students who belong to OBC Category & pursuing classes 9 & 10 in UP state can apply for the scheme.

The last date for the submission of the online application is 12th October 2022.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh state
• Only OBC Category students are eligible to apply
• The annual income of the family must not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- from all sources

6. Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Category Students

The Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC is offered by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh under the BC Welfare Department. This scheme is applicable to intermediate students only.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the academic year 2022-2023.

Application Submission Start Date: 20th July 2022

Last Date for the Application: 25th October 2022

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate must be a domicile in Uttar Pradesh State
• Only OBC Category students are eligible
• Candidate must be pursuing either 11th or 12th class
• The annual income of the family must not exceed Rs. 2 Lakh from all sources

7. Post-Matric (Other than Intermediate) Scholarship for OBC Students

The application process for the “Post-Matric (Other than Intermediate) Scholarship for OBC Students” has been started for the academic session 2022-2023.

This scheme is applicable for OBC students of Uttar Pradesh state pursuing graduation, PG, or Ph.D. level courses.

Interested candidates can submit the application form from 20th July 2022 onward.

Timeline for Correction of submitted application: 16th to 26th November 2022

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh state
• Only OBC Category students are eligible to apply
• The applicant must be studying Graduation, Postgraduation, or Ph.D. level courses in any of the recognized universities/ institutes
• The annual income of the family must be less than 2 Lakh rupees

8. Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities 2022-2023

The students who are pursuing classes 9th & 10th from the minority category are eligible to apply for the scheme.

The Minority Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh is offering this scholarship to encourage meritorious students to finish their matriculation.

The application process for the academic year 2022-2023 was started on 23rd July 2022. The last date for the submission of the application is 12th October 2022.

Interested candidates can go through the required documents and the application procedure.

Primary Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must belong to Uttar Pradesh state
• Must be from the minority community
• Candidates pursuing 9th or 10th class are eligible to apply
• The family’s annual income must not exceed Rs. 1 Lakh from all the sources

9. Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship for Minorities 2022-2023

The Department of Minority Welfare UP is inviting applications for the Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship. The minority students of UP who are pursuing their intermediate education can apply for the scheme.

The application process was started in the month of July 2022.

The students who are pursuing intermediate education in UP state can go through the detailed eligibility criteria and application procedure and get prepared.

Primary Eligibility Factors:

• The applicant must belong to the Uttar Pradesh state
• Must be pursuing 1st or 2nd year of Intermediate Education
• Only minority-category students are eligible
• The family’s annual income must not exceed Rs. 2 Lakh

10. Post-Matric (Other than Intermediate) Scholarship for Minorities

The Post-Matric (Other than Intermediate) Scholarship for Minorities is organized by the Department of Minority Welfare, UP.

Minority students who are pursuing higher education above intermediate can apply for the scheme online.

The application process for the academic year 2022-2023 was started in the month of July 2022.

Meanwhile, interested candidates can go through the application procedure and required documents.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Only the candidates belonging to the minority category are eligible
• The applicant must belong to the Uttar Pradesh state
• Must be pursuing above intermediate (Graduation, PG, Ph.D., or above)
• The family’s annual income must not exceed Rs. 2 Lakh

Application Procedure

Applications for all the “UP Scholarship Programs” are accepted through the official portal www.scholarship.up.nic.in.

The applicants who are not aware of the procedure can follow the below steps.

Student Registration:

• Go to the home page of the website (Visit Here)
• In the menu section, there is a Student tab, click on it
• Click on Registration from the dropdown

• Fill out the form with mandatory details and hit the Register button
• Now, you are done with the Registration Process

Scholarship Application:

After finishing the registration process, the students have to follow the below steps to submit the application.

• Go to the home page again
• Scroll down a little, there are three tabs
  • Schemes
  • Institutions
  • GOs
• Click on the Schemes
• List of scholarships displayed under that (as shown in the below screenshot)

• Click on the scholarship that you want to apply for
• Hit the Login link, a popup will be opened
• Enter your Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Password
• Now, you are directed to the Instructions Page
• Read all the guidelines and hit the Proceed button
• A new page opens with the Application Form
• Fill out the form with your personal and educational details and hit the Proceed button
• Upload all the necessary documents and submit the application
• Now, you are done with the application process
