Telangana ePass Scholarships 2022-2023: There are many talented students in the state of Telangana who are lacking behind due to their financial status. Also, there are enough scholarships in the state offered by the Government and private organizations. But most of the students are not aware of it.

TS ePass Scholarships (Apply & Track Scholarship Status)

In this article, you are able to apply for various scholarships offered by the Government of Telangana.

We have provided the procedure to track the scholarship status that you have already applied for.

The scholarships offered by the Telangana Govt. are helpful for the students pursuing from the 9th class to the Ph.D. level.

Recently the Govt. has introduced overseas scholarships too, which help the students who are willing to study higher education in foreign universities.

1. Pre-matric Scholarship for SC/ST/BC/Disabled Categories 2022-2023

Objective: This scholarship is offered by the Government of Telangana for the welfare of the SC/ST/BC and Disabled students. The aim of the scheme is to provide financial support to the dropout students of SC/ST/BC/Disabled categories.

This scheme is applicable for 5th to 8th standard students under G.O.Ms.No.57 and for 9th, and 10th standard students under G.O.Ms.No.47. The scheme is organized by the Department of SC Welfare, Telangana.

Eligibility:

• Students who are pursuing 5th to 10th classes can apply for the scheme
• The Applicant must belong to the Telangana state
• Family income must be less than Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum for SC/ST Categories
• For BC/EBC/Minority category students, their family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 1,50,000/- (If the family belongs to a rural area). And less than Rs. 2,00,000/- if the family belongs to the urban areas.
• In the case of disabled welfare students, the family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 1,00,000/-

Note: The student must have an attendance of 75% or above at the end of each quarter.

How to Apply?

Eligible candidates can submit their applications at the “Telangana ePass” website. If you are not aware of the process, please follow the below procedure to submit your application.

• Initially, visit the official website of TS ePass website i.e., www.telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in
• On the home page of the website, you will find the rectangular tab titled “Pre-Matric Scholarship Services“, click on it.
• A new page will be opened
• On the right side of the page, you will find the button “Registration“, click on it.
• Again, a new page opens
• There are 7 segments to fill up

• Fill up all the details and upload the scanned copies of the following documents
  • Passport Size Photograph

• After filling in the fields and uploading the documents, click on the “SUBMIT APPLICATION” button.
• Your application will be submitted successfully
• Print an Acknowledgement copy for future use

Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/BC/PWD Renewal Process

The procedure for renewal is the same as the fresh registration.

• Click on “Pre-Matric Scholarship Services“
• A new page opens, Renewal Scholarship link is given in the second row, click on it
• Fill in the required fields and upload the documents and then submit the application
• Take the Print out using the “Print Application” button

2. Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/BC/Disabled 2022-2023

Objective: The aim of this scheme is to provide financial support to the students of Telangana pursuing the above 10th standard.

The application process for the academic year 2021-2022 is closed, and the fresh registration process is yet to open.

Students who belong to SC/ST/BC/Disabled and pursuing courses like Intermediate, Diploma, Degree & PG Courses, Engineering Courses, and all other professional courses up to the Ph.D. level can apply for this scheme.

This scholarship is provided by the Government of Telangana under the department of SC & BC Welfare.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must belong to the state of Telangana
• The student must be from SC/ST/BC/EBC/Disabled categories only
• The applicant must pass the 10th standard
• The family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 2,00,000/- for SC/ST Categories
• For BC/EBC/Disabled Welfare category students, their family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 1,50,000/- (If the family belongs to a rural area). The annual must be less than Rs. 2,00,000/- if the family belongs to the urban areas.
• The candidate must qualify for the 10th class with an attendance of 75% or above.

• Scanned copy of Bank’s Passbook (First Page)
• Bonafide Certificate for last 7 academic years
• CET Allotment Order (If required)

3. National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2022-2023

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) STAGE-I is organized by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana and it is conducted in the month of November every year.

Important Points about the Scheme:

• The candidates pursuing the 10th standard can apply for the NTSE scholarship
• Funding will be provided by the NCERT, New Delhi
• The examination will be conducted in the month of November every year
• A total of 2000 candidates all over the country will be selected for the 2nd level examination.

Rewards:

• A stipend of Rs. 1250/- will be provided for the students pursuing Class 11 and Class 12.
• Rs. 2000/- stipend will be provided for UG & PG students

NTSE Stage-2 Examination 2022-2023:

The NTSE 2020 Stae-II Exam: This exam is conducted for those who qualified in the Stage-I Examination. National Talent Search Examination Stage-2 is organized by the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research & Training).

This examination is scheduled to be conducted on the 10th of May 2020 (Sunday). But, due to the corona outbreak in the country, the exam was postponed.

Interested candidates can submit the application through Telangana ePass website.

4. Telangana National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS)

National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship is popularly known as NMMS. This examination is conducted by the Director of Government Examinations, Telangana. The 8th standard students of the Telangana state can apply for the scheme online.

The scholarship will be provided for a maximum of 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Students pursuing 8th standard at Government aided Schools, Local Body Schools, ZP Schools, and Government schools are eligible to apply
• The student must pass the 7th class with a minimum of 55% marks (OC/BC) and 50% marks (SC/ST/PH).
• The annual income of the family must be less than Rs. 1,50,000/-

Application Fee:

• The student belonging to OC/BC category must pay Rs. 100/- towards the application charges
• Rs. 50/- in case of SC/ST/PH Categories

Important Dates:

• The application form will be available from the 15th of July 2022
• The last date to submit the application form will be in the month of August/ September 2022.
• Admit cards will be released in the month of October 2022.
• The NMMS Exam will be conducted in November & December according to the different states.
• NMMS Answer key will be released in January 2023
• Finally, the result will be out in February / March 2023

Rewards:

Selected candidates will get the scholarship amount of Rs. 12000/- per annum.

5. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi 2022-2023

Objective: The primary aim of the scheme is to provide financial support to students who are seeking higher education in overseas countries. This scheme is offered by the Government of Telangana under the Department of Backward Class Welfare.

The shortlisted candidates will get the fee benefits of up to Rs. 20,00,000/- (Twenty Lakh Rupees)

Eligibility Criteria:

• The family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 1,50,000/- per annum (If belongs to the rural areas) and Rs. 2,00,000/- per anum in the case of urban areas.
• The age of the candidate must be less than 30 Years
• Candidate must not get benefited from the scheme twice in a lifetime.
• Applicant must obtain the following scores

  • GRE – 280
  • IELTS – 6.5
  • GMAT – 550

6. Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities 2022-2023

Objective: The aim of the scheme is to provide financial support to the students of minority categories willing to study abroad. The students who are interested in pursuing professional courses in foreign universities can avail of this opportunity.

Important Points about the Scheme:

• The scholarship is provided to 500 students every year
• The family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 2,00000/- from all the sources
• The maximum age limit of the candidate must not cross 30 years
• The candidate should join the respected university within one year
• Selected candidates are not allowed to change the course

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to get the scholarship amount.

• To pursue Post Graduation courses, the candidate must pass the degree with a minimum of 60% marks.
• For P.hD. courses, the candidate must pass the PG with 60% marks
• Only one child of the same parents can avail of the scholarship
• The candidate should have a valid TOEFL/IELTS and GRE/GMAT
• Must obtain an admission letter/ I-20 from the foreign university
