HPU Result 2020: The Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla has announced the Semester results of UG & PG Courses. The results of the same are updated on this page.
The HPU has conducted the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th-semester examinations in the month of November 2019. The students who are pursuing UG & PG courses at the campus and the affiliated colleges have taken the examinations.
The university has also announced the Revaluation, Re-appear results of all the courses.
Students can access the result by entering the login credentials in the official portal.

HPU Result 2020 (UG & PG 2nd, 4th, 6th Sem Results)
The 2nd, 4th, and 6th-semester exams of Himachal Pradesh University are supposed to be conducted in the months of May/ June 2020. The initial schedule was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
As of now, there is no official statement on conducting the examinations. Few universities are releasing the even semester results based on the internal performance of the students.
The management of HPU has not yet declared any statement on this.
Hopefully, we may expect the announcement by the end of August 2020.

There are multiple websites of Himachal Pradesh University. Most of the students, especially freshers are confused about finding the official website and searching the result on it.

- The result portal of HPU is www.studentportal.hpushimla.in
- So, type in the above URL into your browser
- There are two tabs on the home page (UG & PG)
- Select the course (UG or PG)
- Enter your User ID or Enrollment Number
- Enter the Password & hit the Sign In button
- You are directed to your dashboard
- Hit the Result link and select the course and semester
- Click on the Get Result button
- The result will be displayed on the screen
- Download it and take a print if necessary
Forgot your Account Password?
The students are not permitted to reset the password on the official website. You have to contact your college’s management to get the password.
The university gives the passwords of all the students to the respective colleges.
FAQ on Himachal Pradesh University Result
Ans: As of now there is no official statement on releasing the schedule. We may expect the schedule by the end of August 2020. The management may release the results based on the internal performance of the student.
Ans: The fee for paper revaluation changes frequently. As per the previous schedule, the Application Fee for UG Paper Revaluation is Rs. 300/- per paper.
Ans: The application fee for Re-Checking UG Paper at HPU is Rs. 400/- per paper. The fee for Rechecking PG paper is Rs. 500/-.
Ans: As per the latest notification the Application Fee for Re-evaluating PG Paper is Rs. 400/- per paper.
