The Colgate Scholarship is an initiative of the US-based popular toothpaste brand Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. This is an annual recurring scheme offering for 501 students every year.
The aim of the scheme is to help and support the education of the children in the country.
Irrespective of the caste and gender, anyone having a child/ children below 21 years can participate in the scheme.
The shortlisted candidates will get up to Rs. 1 Lakh worth of scholarship. All you need to do is just answer the 2 questions on the phone.
There are a few guidelines and eligibility factors. Go through the below sections for detailed notification.
Colgate Scholarship 2021-2022
The Colgate Scholarship is offered to 501 participants every year. Any individual from India having a child below 21 years of age can participate in this competition.
Out of 501 selected candidates, 45 participants will get a scholarship of Rs. 1 Lakh each, and the remaining 456 participants will get Rs. 10,000/- each
So, the total amount that Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. offering through this scheme is Rs. 90,60,000/-.
Eligibility Criteria
There are a few basic eligibility factors to participate in the competition.
- Any individual having a child below 21 years can apply (Means the age of the student must be less than 21 years)
- Irrespective of gender & caste anyone can apply
- Anyone from across the nation can apply
- The employees of Colgate-Palmolive, Byju’s, Mad House, and RedFuse are not eligible to participate in the competition
Note: Here in this competition, the participant is the one who has the child of age below 21 years (means the participant is the parent, not the child).
Rewards
Colgate Scholarships are provided to 501 winners every year. Out of which, 45 candidates will get Rs. 1 Lakh each and the remaining will get Rs. 10,000/- each.

Required Documents for Colgate Scholarship 2021
Not all the participants are required to submit the documents.
Only the shortlisted candidates (you’ll be informed) have to submit the following documents to the company on the given dates.
- A valid Photo Identity Proof (For Address)
- Passport (or)
- Driving License (or)
- Voter ID Card
- PAN card of the participant
- Date of Birth Certificate of the Child (to ensure that the age of the child is below 21 years)
Application Procedure
- Purchase any of the Colgate products
- Colgate Dental Cream toothpaste,
- Active Salt Neem toothpaste
- Colgate Active Salt lemon toothpaste
- Active Salt toothpaste
- Colgate Cibaca toothpaste
- Cibaca Vedshakti toothpaste
- There will be a toll-free number 1800 313 4575 on the pack
- This number will also be available on the print and digital media
- Give a missed call to that number from your mobile
- The applicant will get a call from Colgate and asks to select the IVRS option to answer the question
- You need to answer 2 questions on the same call and also provide some details for communication
- Now, you are done with your participation

Note: Buying the above-mentioned tooth paste’s is not mandatory. You can also get the toll-free number through other platforms.
Selection Procedure of Colgate Scholarship
Stage-1:
- All the answers from the participants are verified and shortlist the right answers
- From that list, the computer will randomly select the 501 participants
- Again from the 501 selected candidates, the computer will randomly pick the 45 participants.
- So, 45 participants will be offered Rs. 1,00,000/- each and the remaining 456 participants are offered Rs. 10,000/- each
Stage-2:
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be updated on the official website
- A team from Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. will give a call to all the shortlisted candidates for the address and other details
- A form will be sent to the address of the Participant
Stage-3:
- The winners have to send the soft copy of the following documents on WhatsApp number +91 96191 72409
- A valid Photo Identity Proof (Passport (or) Driving License (or) Voter ID Card)
- PAN card of the participant
- Date of Birth Certificate of the Child (to ensure that the age of the child is below 21 years)
- A form will be sent to your address
- After receiving the form from Colgate, the candidates have to fill the form and attach the hard copies of the above-mentioned documents
- Send all the documents along with the duly filled form to the below address within 10 days from the date of receiving of form

Stage-4:
- The team will verify the documents of the winners and cross-check the details that you have given on IVRS
- Any mismatch of the details will lead to the rejection of the scholarship
Stage-5: Fund Release
- After finishing the document verification process, the team will send the Account Payee cheque to the participant’s address
- The cheque will be given in the name of the Child
- If the child doesn’t have any bank account, then the scholarship amount will be paid to the Parent’s/ Guardian’s account
- So, make sure to have an active bank account
- The Colgate team is not responsible for the invalid account or damaging of cheque
Important Guidelines
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be updated on the official websites www.colgatecares.co.in and www.colgate.co.in
- Make sure to have a valid bank account in the name of the child
- The winners must send the hard copies of the documents within 10 days from the date of receiving the form
- Sending improper or invalid documents will lead to the rejection of the Colgate Scholarship
- The candidates are not allowed to transfer/ gift the scholarship to others
