APPSC Group 1 Latest Syllabus 2021: Here we have come up with the latest syllabus for Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Group 1 Examination.

About APPSC Group 1 Exam:

The selection process of the Group 1 officers is carried out in 3 stages.

1. Preliminary Exam (Objective)
2. Mains Exam (Conventional Type)
3. Interview

Let’s discuss each stage in detail:

Preliminary Examination (1^st Stage):

• The preliminary Exam contains only 1 paper of 150 questions and 150 marks.
• The duration of the Exam is 150 minutes i.e., 2 hours 30 minutes.
• All the questions are objective type.
• Minimum qualifying marks will depend on the reservations as per the rules.

Structure of APPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam:

Mains Examination (Middle Stage):

• Qualified students in the Prelims Exam will write the mains exam
• Mains Exam contains 5 papers (Paper I, Paper II, Paper III, Paper IV, Paper V)
• General English paper marks are not counted in the final ranking.
• All other papers except General English may be answered in their own language (Telugu, English or Urdu)
• Minimum qualifying marks will depend on the reservations as per the rules.

Interview (Final Round):

The final stage of the selection process is an interview.

• A candidate who qualified in both prelims and mains will be called for Interview
• Interview carries 75 marks
• Here the Interviewers tests the candidate’s attitude and decision making skills
