Q. What is Carried Forward Posts?
A. The vacancies which are carried forward from previous year recruitment are called carried forward posts.
3. Eligibility Criteria
3.1 Eligibility Criteria for FBO and ABO Posts
- Candidate must be the citizen of India
- Candidate should have good health condition and should not have any body defects
3.2 Educational Qualification:
- Applicant must complete the Intermediate Education or its equivalent from any of the recognized Board.
3.3 Physical Requirements:
Candidates must have the below physical requirement

- 5 cm height relaxation in case of candidate belonging to Gurkha, Nepal, Assam, NAFA, Naga, Manipuri, Gauhati, Kummoni, Sikkim, Bhutan and Scheduled Tribes.
- Applicant should have normal eye sight
- Walking test is just an eligibility test; it will not carry any marks.
- All the candidates must complete the medical examination test at Visakhapatnam Medical Board
3.4 Age Limit:
- Candidate must have minimum age of 18 Years and the maximum of 30 years as on 1st July 2019.
- Means candidate must not be born before 2nd July 1989 and not after 1st July 2001.
3.5 Age Relaxation:
- 5 Years age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST and BC Category

4.1 Mode of Fee Payment:
- Fee payments have to be one in the official website of APPSC through NET Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card
- Fee paid in the website is not refundable
- DDs are not acceptable
- 100/- will be charged for corrections (Not for correcting name, fee and age relaxation)
5. Online Application Process:
Step 1: Visit the official website of APPSC i.e. www.psc.ap.gov.in
Step 2: If you are applying for the first time register for OTPR (One Time Profile Registration) at www.psc.ap.gov.in to get OTPR ID (Step-by-step procedure has been explained after this paragraph).
Step 3: If you already have OTPR ID then login to www.psc.ap.gov.in website and enter your OTPR ID and password.
Step 4: Click on “Online Application Submission” at the bottom right corner of the website
Step 5: Fill out the necessary details and click on the submission

APPSC One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) Step by Step Process:
Step 1: Visit www.psc.ap.gov.in website
Step 2: Click on the One Time Profile Registration link at right side widget of the website
Step 3: You can see the options like Direct Recruitment and Departmental Test. Click on New Registration in the Direct Recruitment row.
Step 4: Fill out all the required details and upload your passport size photograph and signature and then click on the preview
Step 5: After getting a preview of your application, check for spelling mistakes, if everything is good then click on submit button.
Step 6: A unique ID has been generated. Remember OTPR ID for further use.
6. Scheme of Examination
6.1 Scheme of Screening Test:
- Written Examination carries 150 marks and the total no. of questions are 150
- It is divided into two parts
- All the questions are objective type

7. Selection Process for FBO and ABO Posts
- The selection process of the posts FBO and ABO is carried out in 3 stages
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
- Mains Examination (Objective Type)
- Physical Test
- Selection process is carried out based on the merit list of the computerized examination
- Candidate must undergo all the 3 tests
- Minimum Qualifying marks are 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs and 30% for SCs & STs
